SKF-GRM MARATHON - 42.195 Km


The 42.195 Km Marathon route starts at 04:30 AM. The stretch is 21.0975 Km from start to turnaround point and back. This route is, therefore run twice to achieve a total distance of 42.195 Kms.

FULL MARATHON


SKF Goa River Marathon (SKF-GRM) will ensure that the participants are adequately hydrated by setting up hydration points at regular intervals (every 1 to 1.5 KM). Every alternate hydration station also has medical aid staff. Additionally, there will be five emergency response ambulances patrolling the route. The route will be closed to vehicular traffic for at least 6 hours.

Throughout the marathon you are never far from help as SKF-GRM race officials will be constantly patrolling the route. Photographers are placed at strategic points to ensure maximum coverage and for you to have good chances of getting clicked.

The registration fees for the marathon is Indian Rupees 1,600/-. It covers your right to participate in the marathon and make use of all event related facilities including emergency physiotherapy at race venue and an engraved medal. Last date will be announced in due course.

Participants aged 18 and older (as on date of event). In the case of 5Km fun walk or run, participants less than 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

This event will start at 04:30 and you need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start. You will be eligible for a timing certificate / prize money provided you cross the finish line within . Timing mats will be removed at 9:10 AM

Note: After 10:30 A.M. there will be partial traffic in many places and thereafter full traffic will be open. Any participant running with the event bib after 11:00 A.M. will be lifted off the course on our vehicles. This is being done for the safety of the participants and under orders of the local law authorities.

Race kit should be collected from the expo venue which is, the Village Panchayat of Chicalim, Goa. Google Map to the Venue
Date for collection of kit: 08th Dec between 1:00 p.m to 0700 pm
9th Dec between 0930 am to 0700 pm.
In case you cannot make it at the above times please authorize your friend to collect same on your behalf with:
1. Authorization letter signed by you
2. Copy of your registration confirmation email
3. Copy of ID proof

You may collect another participant's race kit provided you have that participant's receipt, authorization letter to collect on his/her behalf and copy of participant's ID proof.

Cancellation of registration from Participants:-
75% refund between 30 and 60 days
25% refund between 20 and 30 days.
No refund 20 days before the event.
GST will not be refunded.

Yes. FREE transport is available to participants staying in Vasco City only.

The organizing team has arranged for shuttle buses from Vasco (Railway station) to the Parking Venue (Regina Mundi School). Participants staying in Vasco may avail of the shuttle service to reach the Parking Venue. From here it is 750 meters away and a 20 minute walk to the Start Venue. Hence you need to plan your race morning journey accordingly.
The buses will be running at regular frequency of every 10/15 minutes starting at 3:00 AM and the last bus at 05:30 am. Buses will also be available for a drop back to the city from the finish area after 09:00 AM.

Yes, but don't include any valuables. Organizer's will not accept any theft claims.
